Hymn for Lauds: Presentation BVM: Sarum: 15th Century

Omnes fideles plaudite,
Et Virginis infantiam
Devoto corde colite
Mirantes eius gratiam.

Nam in puella tenera
Vernat sensus maturitas,
Et panditur per opera
Habitans intus Deitas.

Docta, matura, strenua,
Et honore spectabilis:
Virtute scandens ardua
Cunctis præstans et humilis.

Sic Conditoris munere
Miris ornata dotibus,
Ut digna foret parere
Deum castis visceribus.

Gloria tibi, Domine,
Qui natus es de Virgine:
Idem manens in numine
Patri cum Sancto Flamine. Amen.

Applaud, astonished at her grace,  all you faithful, and celebrate with a devoted heart the infancy of the Virgin.  For in a girl of tender age there grew a mature understanding, and God dwelling within her was revealed in her deeds. Learned, mature, strong and worthy of special honor was she:  climbing the hard heights of virtue, yet peerless in all humility.  Thus by the gift of the Creator, endowed with a wondrous dowry, that she be worthy to give birth to God from her chaste womb.  Glory to thee, O Lord, who was born of the Virgin, with the Father and Holy Spirit, in eternal ages. Amen.
