St. Teresa of Avila and St. Charles de Foucauld: Let us do as did St. Teresa

St. Teresa of Avila and St. Charles de Foucauld:

Let us do as did St. Teresa, who had so well acquired the habit of seeing all good as coming from God, that on seeing others she would immediately think of God acting in them; and in thinking about herself it was completely impossible for her to feel the least pride, since she saw that that she possessed nothing of her own, all coming from God alone.

St. Teresa did all in this way. From the time she had Jesus in her visions, nothing could please her any longer, neither the scenery, nor any created beauty. "In my eyes all was but mud," she said. Let us do the same.
