Deus, qui iucundam tibi mansionem in corde beatae Gertrudis virginis praeparasti, ipsius intercessione, cordis nostri tenebras clementer illustra, ut te in nobis praesentem et operantem laetanter experiamur.
O God, who prepared for yourself a pleasing dwelling place in the heart of blessed Gertrude the Virgin, by her intercession, mercifully shine upon the darkness of our hearts, that we may experience you present in us and joyfully working with in us.
St. Margret of Scotland
Deus, qui beatam Margaritam eximia in pauperes caritate mirabilem effecisti, da, ut, eius intercessione et exemplo, imaginem bonitatis tuae inter homines referamus.
O God, who made blessed Margret great in her wondrous care of the poor, grant that by her intercession and example, we may imitate your goodness among men.
