Why in the world was this great ecumenical feast eliminated from the Roman Rite? Could it be that anti-semtism was alive and well at Vatican II?

At Antioch, the passion of the seven holy brothers Machabees, with their mother, who suffered under King Antiochus Epiphanes. Their relics were transferred to Rome and buried in the Church of St Peter Ad Vincula.
