St. Pio (From the Clear Creek Abbey: Matins according to the Benedictine Ritual)

 

ALMIGHTY and Eternal God, Who, by a signal grace, gave to Thy saintly priest Pio, to participate in a singular way in the Cross of Thy Son, and who by his ministry of Thy mercy didst renew Thy wonders, grant us, by his intercession, that ever associated to the sufferings of Christ we may happily be led to the glory of Thy resurrection.

Omnípotens sempitérne Deus, qui sanctum Pium, presbýterum, crucis Fílii tui singulári grátia partícipem esse donásti, et per eius ministérium misericórdiæ tuæ mirabília renovásti, concéde nobis, ut, eius intercessióne, passiónibus Christi iúgiter sociáti ad resurrectiónis glóriam felíciter perducámur.
