Deus,
qui Ecclésiam tuam regéndam beáto Paulo papæ commisísti, strénuo Fílii tui
Evangélii apóstolo, præsta, quǽsumus,
ut, ab eius institútis illumináti,ad civílem amóris cultum in mundum dilatándum
tibi collaboráre valeámus.
O God, who did entrust the rule
of your Church to blessed Pope Paul, a strong apostle of the Gospel of your
Son, grant, we beseech you, that, illuminated by his teaching, we may
collaborate with you in opening the world to the cultivation of a civilization of
love.
