Golias
prostratus est,
RESURREXIT
DOMINUS!
ense
iugulatus est
hostis
proprio
cum
suis submersus est
ille
Pharao.
Dicant
Sion filiae:
RESURREXIT
DOMINUS!
vero
David obviae
choros
proferant,
victori
victoriae
laudes
concinant.
Samson
noster validus,
RESURREXIT
DOMINUS!
circumsaeptus
hostibus
portas
sustulit;
frustratus
allophylus
stupens
ingemit.
Ut
leonis catulus
RESURREXIT
DOMINUS!
quem
rugitus patrius
die
tertia
suscitat
vivificus
teste
physica.
Deo
patri.
Goliath has been brought down, the Lord has
risen, the enemy has been killed with his own sword, Pharaoh with his men has
been sunk. The daughters of Sion sing, the Lord has risen, to meet the true
David, they bring forward the dancers, they sing together praises of victory to
the victor. Our mighty Samson, the Lord has risen, surrounded by enemies, opens
the gates, the foreigner bewildered, groans in shock. Like a young lion, the
Lord has risen, awakened by the Father’s roar, on the third day, he rose alive
in physical witness.
