Paul the Deacon, monk, historian and grammarian (720-799 AD)



Jhesu quoque nomen nobis venerabile nostri Redemptoris, quod ad latinitatem placet inflectere. 

Jesus, the name of our Redeemer, whom we venerate, it  pleases us to  inflect his name in the Latin language.
